2. 民事索償的律師費用會否很貴？

香港專門處理索償的律師基本上一律按時收費，而一般而言在勝訴或取得有利的和解後，疏忽方及其保險公司有責任支付你部分或全部的律師費用。在證據充分的案件，如傷者有經濟困難，律師亦可能同意以靈活方式處理律師費用事宜，以減低傷者在索償程序期間的經濟負擔。

It is worth to note that as a lay client, you cannot instruct a barrister directly, but you must do it through your solicitor.
